These two gentlemen will probably not be at our Apple Days this year, but we'll have some that look just like 'em!
It's a weekend of Cowboys and Indians at the Cashmere Museum Apple Days.
At 10:30 on Saturday morning, Cashmere and representatives of the Colville Reservation will unite in dedicating the Museum Park in memory of John Harmelt, the last Chief of the Wenatchi Tribe.
Then, in the Village, the Shootists will set up headquarters in the Saloon where they will sell cold sarsaparilla and dramatize shootouts and gold robberies throughout the day.
The Tillicum Riders will show off their skills as they put their horses through routines. The Riders will also offer horseback rides in the Park.
Kids of all ages will be able to test their skills at target shooting with bows and arrows, and the Oregon Trail Travelers will be set up in Teepees ready to instruct visitors in the ways of our Pioneers.
Spinners and weavers will provide demonstrations, and the Monitor Methodist Church will provide an Old Time Family Church Service at the Mission Church in the Village at 9:30 on Sunday morning featuring hymn singing to the music of the old pump organ.
