The president of Cashmere Wacoka, Gloria Reichmann (center), presents Erica Elias (on the left) with a check to help her live her dream to perform in Carnegie Hall in New York City. Erica's mother, Wendy Elilas (on the right) joins the celebration.
Wacoka of Cashmere heard Erika Elias sing; her gift is truly a talent to be recognized.
This Kiwanis Service Club came up with the funds to help Erika, a senior at Cashmere High School, secure her plane ticket.
She is a member of the 2012 American Performance Choir, an honor that only a few of the highest rated high school performers from throughout North America and international schools achieve.
They will perform in Carnegie Hall in New York City within a couple of weeks!
