Eric Carle is one of the best-known creators of contemporary bilingual children’s books.
He is appreciated as much for his vibrant art as he is for his engaging stories which are perfect for teaching science & language with a touch of humor.
“The Very Hungry Caterpillar” is probably one of his most popular books.
We will be reading some of his fun books in English and emphasizing key vocabulary in Spanish. And we will close with a finger painting contest featuring some of his beloved characters. Prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded to the best pictures! Everything will take place in the Cashmere Library ( 300 Woodring St.) on Jan 15th from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
