Some skiers wear interesting outfits each year for this fun women-only event.
The Hog Loppet is a challenging cross country ski trek that should be on every skier's bucket list. Is this your year to cross it off?
Leavenworth Winter Sports Club celebrates the 10th anniversary of Chicks On Sticks, our women’s only winter event to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds for The Wellness Place of Wenatchee.
Women are welcome to cross-country ski or snowshoe on the 8 km trail on Sunday, January 29th.
The Leavenworth Fish Hatchery hosts the start of the event while the participants use the back part of LWSC’s Icicle River Nordic Trails.
Online registration is open and costs $20-$30. Click here to register.
Day of event registration starts at 8 a.m. and the “race” starts at 9:30 a.m. Timing is optional per participant’s choice.
Balance Point Health & Fitness and Mt. Stuart Physical Therapy are back again as title sponsors along with Fashion for $12.99 as an additional sponsor.
Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort provides refreshments.
Participants will also enjoy raffle prizes and a special prize for "Best Dressed Chick."
