Cashmere High School's drama department is well represented in the Leavenworth Summer Theater production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, currently playing on the Hatchery Park Stage. Pictured are Michael Larson and Michael McCormick, and they are joined on stage by Joe Clark and Alexander Robertson.

Four of the actors in Leavenworth Summer Theater's production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers have direct ties with the drama program at Cashmere High School.

Joe Clark, class of 2008, plays suitor Carl; Michael Larson, class of 2010, plays brother Gideon; Michael McCormick, class of 2012, plays brother Frank; and Alexander Robertson, class of 2015, plays suitor Jeb.

The CHS alumni and students dance and sing in the production shown at the Hatchery Park Stage.

Here's an excerpt from the LST website:

"Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is a singin’ and dancin’ spectacular based on the popular 1954 film. The time is the mid-1800s, and rugged mountain man Adam Pontipee and his six brothers are settling the wild, untamed Oregon territory. As the eldest, Adam decides it is his responsibility to find a wife who can help run the household. He ventures into town and meets Milly, a beautiful, sassy, independent young woman who captures his heart and agrees to be his bride on the spot. They quickly marry and depart for the distant Pontipee farm, but Milly’s joy is short-lived when she discovers that her new husband also lives with his six equally uncouth brothers. After recovering from the initial shock, Milly decides to make the best of the situation by helping her new brothers find brides of their own. Hilarity ensues as the well-intentioned but bumbling brothers fight for, capture, and court their prospective brides. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is an energetic, feel-good romp that the whole family can enjoy."

Sounds like fun! Come up to Leavenworth and cheer on your local thespians!
