Jeff Hampton is the 2010 Chelan County Fair Volunteer of the Year.
Every year the Chelan County Fair Board goes through a process to acknowledge the hard work of either a family, a couple, or an individual for the Fair “Volunteer of the Year.”
This year the honor goes to Jeff Hampton, Superintendent of the Poultry Department.
Jeff has been involved with the fair for the past 10 years as an exhibitor of poultry. He admired all of the awesome volunteers who help keep the fair going year after year, so he decided to become one of them.
He offered his experience and knowledge in the Poultry Department and soon became the Superintendent of that department.
Jeff does an outstanding job and the Fair Board wanted to acknowledge his commitment to the Fair by voting him “Volunteer of the Year” for 2010.
