Founder's Day Golf Tournament

Sunday served up a beautiful summer day for the Founder’s Day Golf Tournament at Mt Cashmere Golf Course. First place winners, John Vitter and Bill Westbrook, carted a par round score and their prize was a rafting trip on the Wenatchee River. At second, a stroke over, Casey Gray and Justin Weedman won massage sessions by Massage Therapist Dorothy Ferguson at the Mt. Cashmere clubhouse.
Kevin Lindblom had the longest putt and John Vetter the longest drive.
The two-man scramble format predictably delivered the usual raised or dashed hopes on that second hit.
After finishing play it was back to the comfortable shade beneath the cherry trees for the awards time and the salads and Bar B Q lunch. Those cherries are still red but looking good—getting close to ripe.
No doubt you will be leading the pack next year!
