Trick or Treat in Cashmere Oct. 31

The Wacoka kids Halloween party returns this year, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Cashmere Fire Hall in downtown Cashmere.

For a safe and fun Halloween, bring the family to Cashmere this Oct. 31

With its historic, tree-lined streets and reputation for being a safe, family oriented community, Halloween and Cashmere go hand in hand.

Take the kids trick or treating in downtown Cashmere or along Cottage Avenue. At the Mission District (207 Mission Ave.), trick-or-treaters can stop in at Snapdragon Coffee between 4 and 5 p.m. for free mini cups of gelato.

Or attend one of our fun, free annual community events.

Trunk or Treat features carnival games, inflatables and candy. The event is sponsored by Christ Center, First Baptist Church and Trinity Inflatables. It is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot next to the First Baptist Church, off of Division Street.

The Wacoka of Cashmere-Kiwanis Club's annual Halloween party is also 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Cashmere Fire Hall on Woodring, just off Cottage Avenue. The kids will enjoy the many games, treats and prizes.

Make a family night of it and pick up a restaurant guide in the Chamber lobby, 101 Cottage Ave.

With so much to do, Cashmere is the place to be this Halloween.
